In September 2022, our UAE customer received the customized MIL-STD-810H Dust and Rain test chambers.
The project was completed and handed over to the client after a short period of discussion, design,
customization. Now the test chamber stands tall in the UAE customer's huge laboratory and works well, meeting their testing requirements and improving the durability and reliability of their products.
The models are the MIL-STD-810H Dust Test Chamber(DIM-1000) and the Rain Test Chamber (RIM-0120). The largest test item size is 1.3m x 0.5m x 0.5m.
In May 2023, General Manager Youngsen visited the UAE customers, inspected their laboratories and conducted on-site guidance and training for them.
The two sides talked well and had a good communication. This trip to the UAE not only increased trust, but also opened a window of friendship between us.
LIB MIL-STD-810H Dust Test Chamber is a specialized environmental test device used to simulate dust,
sand, and particulate conditions as defined in U.S. military standard MIL-STD-810H. It is widely used to test the sealing, durability, and reliability of equipment such as electronic enclosures, connectors, switches, sensors, and other military or industrial components.
The chamber allows products to be exposed to controlled dust and sand particles under varying airflow, speed, and concentration, replicating desert storms, battlefield conditions, or prolonged exposure to particulate-laden environments. By testing in this controlled setting, manufacturers can ensure that equipment maintains proper function even in the most challenging field conditions.
Key performance advantages include:
1. High-Precision Dust Simulation: The chamber reproduces fine dust conditions (particles <150 μm) with air velocities ranging from 1.5 to 8.9 m/s and concentrations of 10.7 ± 7 g/m³, ensuring consistent exposure for every test.
2. Blowing Sand Capabilities: For abrasive environments, the chamber generates sand-laden airflow (149–850 μm particles) at velocities of 18–29 m/s with concentrations up to 2.2 ± 0.5 g/m³, mimicking desert storms and battlefield sand conditions.
3. Uniform Distribution: Multiple centrifugal fans, rotary sand feeders, and eight movement rings maintain even dust and sand circulation, preventing localized accumulation and ensuring reproducible results.
4. Real-Time Monitoring: Integrated dust concentration sensors, temperature, and humidity monitors
provide precise data during testing, allowing engineers to adjust conditions as needed.
5. Durable Construction: The workroom is made of SUS304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and wear protection, while the outer shell of A3 steel plate with a protective coating enhances overall durability.
6. Noise-Reduced Operation: Operating at ≤65 dBA, the chamber reduces sound pollution in the lab while maintaining high-speed airflow for accurate testing.

The MIL-STD-810H Water Test Chamber from LIB is specially designed to evaluate the waterproof
performance of equipment under extreme rain and wind conditions. It replicates real-world storm scenarios, from light drips to heavy downpours with high-speed wind, ensuring that military, aerospace, automotive, and industrial products can maintain functionality even in harsh outdoor environments. With precise control of rainfall rate, droplet size, wind speed, and turntable rotation, this chamber provides accurate, repeatable, and reliable testing, helping engineers verify sealing integrity and long-term durability of their products.
1. Accurate Simulation of Rain Conditions:
The chamber can replicate a wide range of rainfall
scenarios, from light drips to heavy downpours and wind-driven rain. Adjustable droplet size (0.5–4.5 mm) and rainfall rates up to 20.8 L/min ensure that testing conditions match real-world storms. Wind speeds can reach 18 m/s, reproducing the effects of high-speed rain and wind on equipment.

2. Dynamic Turntable for Full Coverage: Products are mounted on a rotating turntable (up to 100 kg, 1–7r/min adjustable), ensuring that all surfaces are evenly exposed to water. The turntable works with a waterproof power supply, so sensitive equipment can remain powered during testing.
3. Adjustable Drip Tray and Nozzle System: The chamber features a 360° nozzle array and a liftable drip tray that can adjust height automatically. This allows precise control over water impact and simulates conditions like dripping rain or splashing from above.
4. High-Quality Construction: The interior is made from SUS304 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and high
humidity, while the exterior uses A3 steel with protective coating for durability. The wear-resistant materials ensure long-term reliability in harsh testing environments.
5. Smart Control and Safety Systems: A programmable color LCD touch screen controller manages rainfall rate, droplet size, wind speed, and turntable rotation. Safety features include electromagnetic door locks and water-electricity separation to protect both the operator and the equipment.
6. Versatile Testing Capability: This chamber is suitable for testing a variety of equipment, including electronics, lighting, sensors, wearable devices, and automotive lamps. It can simulate storage, transportation, and field exposure to rain, verifying waterproof sealing and long-term performance.
7. Integrated Water Supply and Cooling: Equipped with a built-in water tank, booster pump,
automatic water supply, water purification system, and mechanical refrigeration, the chamber maintains stable water flow and temperature for consistent testing.
8. Adjustable Parameters for Realistic Testing: From raindrop height (1–4.2 m) to nozzle spacing (20 mm), the chamber can be fine-tuned for different MIL-STD-810H test methods. This flexibility ensures that both light and extreme rainfall scenarios are accurately reproduced.
9. Reliable Performance for Military and Industrial Applications: With precise control, repeatable testing, and robust design, the MIL-STD-810H Water Test Chamber guarantees that military, aerospace, and industrial equipment withstands harsh storm conditions.
