Energy-smart design (polyurethane insulation, condensate recovery, variable-speed fans) cuts water use by up to 70 % and power by 20–30 %. Noise ≤65 dB(A). Safety protections include over-temperature, over-pressure, low-water, refrigerant high-pressure, earth leakage, and dry-combustion safeguards.

Operational Advantages of the Drive In Walk In Environmental Chamber

1. Ultra-Large Testing Capacity: The drive-in chamber provides the largest testing capacity among environmental chamber configurations, allowing vehicles, machinery, and oversized equipment to be driven directly into the test space for full-scale environmental validation. Modular panel construction enables installation in tight or complex spaces—including upper floors or narrow corridors—without compromising safety or performance.

2. Precise Environmental Control & Uniformity: Using PT100 Class A temperature sensors with a resolution of 0.001 °C, the chamber delivers precise and stable environmental control. Intelligent PID regulation maintains temperature stability within ±0.5 °C and humidity within ±2.5 % RH. Multi-directional centrifugal fans and precision airflow baffles ensure uniform conditions throughout the chamber volume, eliminating hot or cold spots and guaranteeing consistent exposure for every sample.

3. Wide Temperature & Humidity Simulation Range: The equipment supports an extensive operating range from –70 °C to +150 °C with humidity control between 20 % and 98 % RH. A powerful refrigeration system paired with responsive electric heating enables accurate simulation of extreme cold, high heat, and high-moisture environments for full-scale products and assemblies.

4. Rapid Temperature Change & Accelerated Testing: With heating rates up to 3 °C per minute and cooling rates of 1 °C per minute, the chamber significantly shortens test cycle times. Programmable control allows multiple test stages to be combined into automated sequences, reducing manual intervention and improving laboratory productivity.

5. Energy-Efficient & Eco-Friendly Design: High-density polyurethane insulation, closed-loop condensate recovery, and intelligent power-saving controls reduce both energy and water consumption. Water usage is reduced by up to 70 % through built-in filtration and recirculation, while power consumption is lowered by 20–30 % compared to conventional chambers.

6. Robust Construction & Integrated Protection: The equipment interior is manufactured from SUS304 stainless steel, offering excellent resistance to corrosion in high-humidity environments. A reinforced A3 steel exterior with protective coating ensures long-term mechanical durability. Comprehensive safety features—including over-temperature, over-pressure, low-water, and earth leakage protection—provide reliable operation and safeguard both personnel and test samples.

Typical Tests Performed

This equipment supports a wide range of full-scale environmental tests. Temperature cycling simulates seasonal changes and thermal loads, typically from –40 °C to +85 °C at 2–5 °C/min for 100–500 cycles. Damp heat cyclic testing (IEC 60068-2-30) checks condensation and corrosion resistance from 25 °C to 55 °C at 95 % RH over 6–24 hour cycles. Steady-state damp heat (IEC 60068-2-78) runs at 40 °C / 93 % RH for 48–1000 hours, often used for electronics. Thermal shock tests rapid transitions from –55 °C to +125 °C in under 3 minutes for 5–100 cycles. High-temperature exposure (IEC 60068-2-2) runs at 85 °C+ for 48–1000 hours to test heat resistance and aging. Low-temperature exposure (IEC 60068-2-1) runs at –20 °C to –70 °C for 4–72 hours to check cold-start and brittleness. Humidity freeze cycles between –20 °C and 25 °C at 85 % RH to evaluate freeze-thaw damage. The 85 °C / 85 % RH test is a common 1000-hour accelerated aging protocol for electronics, solar panels, and automotive parts. ICH Q1A stability tests run at 25 °C / 60 % RH (long-term) or 40 °C / 75 % RH (accelerated) for 6–60 months. Solar simulation uses 280–800 nm full-spectrum light at 35–85 °C black panel temperature and 50–98 % RH, per ASTM G151/G155 and ISO 11341. Dust ingress testing per IEC 60529 uses 50 µm talcum powder for IP5X/IP6X ratings. Salt spray testing per ASTM B117 and ISO 9227 runs at 35 °C for 24–1000 hours to simulate marine corrosion. All conditions are continuously monitored for reliable, repeatable results.
