Vibration Test Chambers

LIB Vibration Test Chambers are based on standard temperature and humidity test chambers, which can be equipped with an external vibration shaker system to achieve combined environmental and mechanical stress testing. Based on a standard climatic chamber, a vibration system is added underneath or beside the chamber structure, enabling synchronized simulation of temperature, humidity, and mechanical vibration in one test cycle.

The vibration shaker provides a frequency range of 2–4000 Hz with a maximum load capacity of up to 500 kg. It supports sine, random, and shock vibration modes, making it suitable for reliability testing and failure analysis under real operating conditions.

This vibration test chamber complies with key international standards including IEC 60068-2-6 (sinusoidal vibration), IEC 60068-2-64 (random vibration), IEC 60068-2-1/2 (low and high temperature tests), MIL-STD-810 (environmental engineering tests), ISO 16750 (automotive electronics), JESD22 (semiconductor reliability tests), and ASTM D4169 (transport simulation testing). These standards ensure accurate performance validation for electronics, automotive components, aerospace systems, and industrial products.

LIB system adopts a modular structure design, where the vibration shaker is installed as an external excitation platform connected to the temperature humidity chamber. The chamber maintains a stable climatic environment while the shaker applies controlled mechanical stress to the test sample. The internal chamber is made of SUS304 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance during high humidity and long-duration testing. Optional head expanders and sliding tables allow flexible mounting for different sample sizes and vibration directions.

Advantages of Vibration Test Chambers

1. Add-On Vibration Upgrade for Existing Chambers: LIB provides an external vibration shaker system that can be directly integrated with your existing temperature and humidity test chamber, enabling combined environmental and vibration testing without replacing your current equipment.

2. High Load Capacity and Wide Frequency Range: The vibration system supports loads up to 500 kg with a frequency range of 2–4000 Hz, suitable for testing from small electronic components to large assemblies.

3. Multiple Vibration Modes for Reliability Testing: It supports sine, random, and shock vibration profiles, allowing users to simulate transportation, operation, and mechanical stress conditions in real applications.

4. Flexible and Cost-Effective Testing Solution: Instead of investing in a fully new combined chamber, the vibration system can be added to existing climatic chambers, significantly reducing cost while expanding testing capability.

5. Easy Installation and System Compatibility: The vibration shaker is designed for quick integration with most standard temperature and humidity chambers, ensuring stable mechanical coupling and synchronized operation. It minimizes modification requirements to existing equipment, allowing laboratories to upgrade testing capability with minimal downtime.

Typical Tests Performed by the Vibration Test Chambers

The vibration test chamber is widely used for evaluating product reliability under combined environmental stress conditions. By integrating temperature, humidity, and vibration, it can simulate real-world operating environments such as transportation, vehicle driving conditions, aerospace vibration stress, and long-term outdoor exposure. Typical tests include temperature cycling combined with random vibration from –40 °C to 85 °C, high-temperature vibration endurance testing at +85 °C, low-temperature vibration testing at –40 °C, and humidity-vibration coupling tests at up to 95% RH. It is also commonly used for mechanical fatigue evaluation under continuous sine vibration between 10 Hz and 2000 Hz, as well as resonance search testing to identify structural weak points in assemblies.
