The Temperature Humidity and Corrosive Gas Test Chamber from LIB Industry, your reliable supplier, simulates the temperature, humidity and corrosive gas your product faces in industrial, urban and sealed-enclosure environments. Find failures early, from contact corrosion and coating degradation to connector faults and performance drift, and simulate months of natural corrosion in just days. All models come with a programmable controller and Ethernet access for simple operation and control.
1. Precision Gas Control: Equipped with high-accuracy gas sensors and intelligent PID control, the chamber maintains stable concentration (±5 ppm), temperature (±0.5 °C) and humidity (±1% RH). This ensures highly repeatable corrosion testing results for metals, coatings and electronic components.
2. Eco-Friendly Exhaust System: The built-in NaOH neutralization tank and sealed airflow design safely remove toxic gas before release. This protects both users and the surrounding environment.
3. Compact Yet Flexible Design: Adjustable sample shelves accommodate various specimen sizes, while a centrifugal fan ensures uniform airflow and consistent exposure across all samples.
4. Accelerated and Reliable Testing: Rapid and uniform exposure to corrosive gas allows months of natural corrosion to be simulated in just days. Programmable multi-step profiles and Ethernet / PC Link reduce setup time and increase testing throughput.
5. Durability and Operator Safety: The acid-resistant SUS316 stainless steel interior and the coated steel exterior ensure long-lasting performance under continuous gas exposure. Double-layer gaskets, an electromagnetic door lock and a leak-proof design protect both operators and samples.

Turn on the main power and make sure the NaOH exhaust system is in place.
Set the gas concentration, temperature and humidity on the touchscreen controller.
Load samples evenly on the adjustable shelves and keep them away from the chamber walls.
Monitor real-time readings on the display or via remote access, and follow the safety protocols, including emergency stop procedures.
After the test, let the chamber purge residual gas through the neutralization system before opening the door.
Carry out regular checks on the gaskets, sensor and NaOH tank to keep the chamber performing well and protect operators.
Q1: How does LIB Industry ensure the gas source is free of impurities? Why does the gas source need to be clean?
A: Impurities in the gas form small particles that stick to the chamber walls, gas lines, valves and sensors. They make gas concentrations unstable, block lines and filters, and leave deposits that look like corrosion. IEC 60068-2-60 also requires the gas, air and water used in the test to be clean enough not to affect the results.
Q2: Could any gas remain after exhaust?
A: Residual gas is minimized by the sensor-monitored exhaust and NaOH absorption system, ensuring concentrations remain well below the EU safety limit of 50 ppm.
Q3: Can the test chamber run gases other than SO₂, such as H₂S, NO₂ or Cl₂?
A: Yes. The test chamber is built for single gas testing, and the gas type is configured to your application at order. For several gases at the same time, please choose our Mixed Flowing Gas Corrosion Test Chamber (IEC 60068-2-60).
LIB Industry is a professional manufacturer of environmental test chambers, established in 2012. We serve customers in 60+ countries through 29 distributors and 4 overseas service centers, and every chamber comes with a 3-year warranty and lifetime maintenance. Temperature Humidity and Corrosive Gas Test Chamber combines temperature and humidity control with single-gas corrosion testing. For applications requiring multiple corrosive gases, LIB Industry also offers the Mixed Gas Flow SO₂ H₂S NO₂ Cl₂ Corrosion Chamber, supporting combined gas corrosion testing. LIB Industry's Gas Test Chambers are trusted by IBM and UL. IBM selected the Mixed Gas Test Chamber for recording head data storage product testing in accordance with IEC 60068-2-42. UL also uses LIB Industry's testing solutions for mixed-gas corrosion testing involving SO₂ and CO₂.
